Cool Ponds is a new name for a not-so-new company. The company started as Edgewood Landscape, which provided a full spectrum of landscape services. As our passion for ponds grew, however, so did that segment of our business.

We're involved in continuous training and improvement of our pond building and design skills.

Having no convenient pond supplies retailer in our area, in late 2003 we decided to expand into the retail pond supplies business as well. As our supplies segment and our pond installation segment grew, we decided to change the focus of the business and Cool Ponds was born. Why Cool Ponds? Because most people who visit our store stand and stare at our main display pond. Then they turn to go into the store and simply say, "That is a Cool Pond."

We are a small, family-owned and operated company. We have ten employees, six of whom are family members. We are proud to have been featured in The Indianapolis Star, in Nursery Retailer Magazine, and with Treeboy on WTHR Channel 13 on more than one occasion. We were also fortunate enough to have a garden exhibit in the 2005 and 2006 Indiana Flower and Patio Show.

Owned by Steve and Staci Wicker, the business emphasis is service, quality, and education. Steve, Staci, and their employees spend countless hours each year in training with industry leaders so that they are up-to-date on all the new products, services, and helpful solutions available to pond owners.
